Cellulite Treatment:: My Take On Tropical Creams...

Dear Reader,

First of all, at the outset I want to make it clear that this is in no way an attack against the myriad of "miracle maker" manufacturers of lotions, potions and what-not. You've seen them I'm sure. The moment you toss faith out the window after trying one "All-natural Cellulite Reducing Derivative" you are hit with another fad, you cave in to re-newed hope...

And On Goes The Cycle

But again, this is not to be held against those potions. If they have worked for you in the past in ridding your body of cellulite - permanently - then fantastic! For most of us, however, since the "cottage cheese" look tends to come back, we need to look for better - more lasting - alternatives for sexier legs and smoother skin.

The good news is, in order to find the answer to fat reduction (the sort that contributes to cellulite formation), we need not go any further than observe why it is exactly that "anti-cellulite" creams DO have some success (albeit to a limited extent).
There are two reasons. The first reason is more due to the illusion of "improved look" given by the improvement in collagen production. Collagen is key in a smoother, suppler look on the legs, and indeed, other areas of the body, but it is by no means the key factor in cellulite reduction.

And this leads us to the decidedly stronger reason (number two) as to why some of these creams work. You see, what the more effective of these creams do is...
Boost Circulation And
Lymphatic Drainage!
This is, of course, provided that the application of the cream is in the form of proper, prolonged massage... and even then in most cases, the boost is not nearly enough to create permanent results because the improved circulation is limited to the dermis and does not extend all the way to the core.
So how does one improve circulation and drainage? Simple: proper dieting and exercise. I know. I know. "Sucks" but that's the age-old answer that's been presented to us by mother nature on a silver platter all this time.
I will write a post on the dietry aspects very soon, but my next post will be on the topic of exercise. And rest assured, you WILL find it enlightening. How enlightening? Here's a hint: if you think jogging should be in the "exercise mix" then you have been lied to.
Stay tuned :)
Warmly,
Sandra Irons
P.S. If you cant wait for my rants and simply want to zero in on the most effective step-by-step "system" to rid yourself of cellulite... PERMANENTLY... then head straight to Renee Feldmand's Program.
Your new look will drive you to gladness, and your friends to envy!
